About Ocala Drywall Experts
Ocala Drywall Experts repairs and installs drywall for homes and businesses across Ocala and Marion County. We work on everything from a single patch to a full room build-out, and we price every job the same way: a free written quote before anything starts.
This page covers what we stand for and how a job runs from first call to final walk-through. No history, no awards, just the standards we hold on every site.
What We Stand For
Straight pricing. The range you see on this site is an area market range, and the number in your written quote is the number you pay, unless you change the scope yourself.
Clean job sites. Dust control matters on a drywall job: plastic sheeting over floors and furniture, vacuum sanding where it counts, and a swept floor when we leave.
No upselling once the mud is already on the wall. If the scope changes because of something we find once we open up a wall, we tell you before we keep going, not after.
How We Work
Every job starts with a scope in writing: what room, what board, what finish level, and what the texture match needs to look like. We name the finish level before any mud goes on the wall, not after, so there's no guessing about what finished means for your job.
When the work is done, we walk the room with you and note anything on a punch list before we call it complete. Cleanup happens before we leave, not as an afterthought.
We're open seven days a week, so scheduling a look at the job doesn't mean waiting until Monday.

Finish Levels, Plain Language
Level 4 is the standard for most walls: three coats of compound over the tape and screws, sanded smooth, ready for a flat or eggshell paint. It's what most bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms get.
Level 5 adds a thin skim coat over the whole surface. It costs more and takes longer, but it's worth it under raking light, like a hallway with can lights pointed down the wall, or a wall painted in high-gloss. We'll tell you which one your room needs before we quote it.
Who We Serve
Homeowners make up most of our schedule: a cracked wall before a repaint, a bathroom ceiling after a leak, a garage that's never been finished. We also work with general contractors on new builds and remodels, and with property managers who need a crew that shows up on schedule and leaves the unit ready for the next step. The process is the same either way: a scope in writing, a firm price, and a clean site when we're done.
What We Will Not Do
- Paint or texture over a wall that's still wet. It has to dry to a meter read first.
- Cover over mold instead of cutting it out.
- Give a firm price without seeing the job in person or getting real photos and measurements first.
