Drywall Questions and Answers
People call us with the same handful of questions, so here are straight answers. If your situation doesn't match anything below, call (352) 644-9394 and we'll walk through it with you.
These are area market ranges. Your written quote sets the firm price once we've seen the job.
Cost and visits
A small patch runs $250 to $450. A larger patch runs $450 to $900. If the surrounding wall has texture, matching it can add to that price. Either way, you get a written price before we start cutting anything out.
Hung and finished, new drywall runs $2.00 to $3.50 per square foot. A single room often lands between $900 and $2,400 all in, depending on size, ceiling height, and how much finishing the walls need.

Yes. We look at the scope, figure out what materials and finish level the job needs, and give you a written quote. That number is the firm price for your job, not a starting point that climbs later.

Not yet. Paint seals the problem in instead of fixing it. The right order is find the leak, dry the wall out, cut away any soft or wet board, and then finish and paint over clean, dry material.
Usually not. Most holes are a one or two visit patch job. Price depends mostly on the size of the hole and whether the wall has texture that needs matching around the repair.
The work itself

Yes. We handle drywall for renovations, additions, and room conversions — hanging new walls, tying new framing into existing rooms, and finishing everything to match.
Yes. Deteriorated or damaged board comes out, new panels go in, and the seams get taped and finished so the wall is paint-ready.
Yes. In Florida's humidity, moisture-resistant and mold-resistant board is the standard pick for bathrooms and laundry rooms. It's a small premium over standard board, not an optional upgrade.
